I grew up with a deep passion for BMX during the 1980s, back when these little bikes were much more than just a way to get around—they were our entire world of chrome, dirt tracks, and absolute freedom. What started as a childhood hobby quickly became the thread that connected my life, and in fact, my closest friends today are people I met over 40 years ago because of the connections we made on those rides. Those days shaped who I am and laid the foundation for everything we do today.
Our Family Legacy
This passion didn’t stop with my generation; it became a family legacy. My kids raced BMX, and now my grandsons are into it, keeping the spirit of the sport alive across three generations.
Why We Started Old’s Cooler
Having lived this lifestyle for decades, I think I have a good feel for others my age and what gets us excited. We didn’t want to open just another store. Instead of selling bike parts, we wanted to create a place dedicated to the lifestyle and the memories.
